Steel Horse is the perfect destination for a multi-day, retreat-like wedding in the Central Colorado mountains. When you book your wedding at the Steel Horse you get use of the entire property and all of its amenities for three days, and two nights – not only a few hours like the other venues.
That means you can host your ceremony, reception, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and a day-after brunch all in one place!
The rustic barn and outdoor ceremony site can seat up to 140 guests - tables, chairs, and tablecloths are included - and the property can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests between the mix of private guest rooms, full-hookup RV sites, 'glamping' domes, and tent camping sites.
If booked separately, all of the items we include in our wedding package would cost more than twice as much! Our weekend wedding package is just $9750 and includes:

Such a beautiful venue! Words cannot explain how perfect this place is. From the on-site housing to the beautiful barn for the reception - this place has everything you need to have your perfect day! The ceremony site has a beautiful view of the mountains, which makes for incredible photos. There is even a photo booth that prints off personalized pictures with the couples’ names and wedding date. Not only was the venue amazing, but the owner Christina was equally amazing. She was so kind and welcoming and anything we asked for, she got for us. She was always there when we needed her, but also gave us space. We couldn’t have done it without her. I still can’t believe we were able to find such a wonderful place! My new husband and I walked away with memories we’ll cherish forever because of this place.
100% Recommend The Steel Horse for any special event! We got married here this summer, and it was amazing. From the absolute beauty of the venue itself, right down to the lovely owners. I loved all of the things that were included in renting the venue for the weekend, and Christina was an absolute joy to work with. The barn is gorgeous, the lodge rooms were cozy, and having the kitchen was a huge plus! And everyone LOVED the photo booth! We had so much fun! We are so glad that we chose The Steel Horse... It DID NOT disappoint!
I can’t imagine having our dream wedding at any place other than the Steel Horse. It was literally perfect. The owners are so kind, easy to talk to, and were always there for questions and to make sure we had everything we needed. The communication was top notch which was amazing because this was a destination wedding and we were out of state. Everyone that went had nothing but good things to say about the venue. I have a feeling we will be talking about this for a long time. We will forever be thankful for choosing the Steel Horse to celebrate one of the biggest days of our lives.
This place is beyond perfect for your wedding! The owners are extremely sweet, helpful and they make sure you enjoy your time! Everyone who came to our wedding complimented the place many times! I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else! We will be going back ASAP for weekend family trips! Thank you so much to the owners, we really adore you guys and your home!
